Assembler

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a leading manufacturer in Hampshire, IL, is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join their team! This is a great opportunity to work with a company that values quality, teamwork, and long-term growth.

Position Details:

• Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

• Schedule: Monday through Friday

• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Type: Temp-to-Hire (Background check needed)

• Bonus: Employees receive a hire-on bonus once converted to permanent status!

The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. This position requires strong attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.

• Assemble electrical and mechanical components using hand and power tools.

• Perform wiring, soldering, and crimping according to specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.

• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.

• Troubleshoot and repair minor assembly or wiring issues as needed.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety policies.

• 1–3 years of electrical or mechanical assembly experience (manufacturing setting preferred).

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Basic knowledge of electrical components, wiring, and tools.

• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.

• Team player with good communication skills.
