CHHA Morning and Afternoon Shifts

About the role
Home Helpers is a home care agency based in Allendale, NJ, and we're looking for compassionate, certified CHHAs to join our growing team. Whether you're looking for part-time flexibility or a steady full-time schedule, we have shifts that work for you — mornings, afternoons, weekdays, and weekends.

This is non-medical home care. You'll work one-on-one with clients in their own homes, helping them live safely, comfortably, and independently.

What you'll do
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Provide companionship, socialization, and emotional support
• Offer medication reminders and help maintain daily routines
• Perform light housekeeping
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and outings

What we're looking for
• Active, valid NJ CHHA certification (required)
• A warm, patient, and dependable caregiver
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home
• Ability to pass a background check
