Senior Systems Engineer (IronPort and Proofpoint)

Job Summary/Company: Our client is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to lead the migration from IronPort email security to Proofpoint (cloud based) email security. This work is onsite 5 days per week at their headquarters in Washington DC.  Due to client requirement, only US Citizens can be considered for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to Proofpoint cloud-based email security solution, ensuring seamless transition with minimal disruption to email services

Qualifications/Background Profile:

• Expert level experience designing, configuring and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise service
• Experience in setting Proofpoint firewall rules and maintaining block lists; responding to requests to quarantine or release email
• Deep understanding of MTA and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway 8.x
• Experience with Linux Server and VM Ware

Pay Range: Hourly $62.00 to $75.00
