Position Details
Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Easley/Powdersville, SC area
Grade Level: Middle School
Caseload: Approximately 26 students
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Start Date: September 8, 2026
Responsibilities
Provide specialized instruction and support to a middle school caseload
Develop and implement instruction aligned with students' IEP goals
Modify curriculum and classroom materials to meet individual learning needs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, families, and support staff
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success
Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
Active South Carolina Special Education teaching certification required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
