Litigation Attorney

Our client is seeking a 2-3 years experienced Litigation Associate to join their team, handling probate-related litigation, independent hearings, depositions, discovery, pleadings, and trial work in a collegial, entrepreneurial environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Independently handle court hearings and take and defend depositions.

• Prepare and respond to written discovery, pleadings, motions, and legal briefs.

• Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation, serving as second or third chair when needed.

• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution as experience permits.

• Handle matters involving probate litigation and demonstrate willingness to develop probate-law expertise.

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to probate matters.

• Proven courtroom experience with the ability to independently handle hearings.

• Experience taking and defending depositions and managing discovery.

• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and judgment skills.

• Excellent attention to detail, initiative, and ability to take responsibility in an entrepreneurial environment.
