We are seeking an experienced PRN Pharmacist to provide vacation coverage at a retail pharmacy in Ontario, Ohio.

Pharmacy Hours

Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Pharmacist Schedule:
8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

The pharmacy does not close for lunch.

Vacation Coverage Needed
September 14 – September 18
November 25

Job Duties
Data entry
Prescription data verification
Product verification
Answering pharmacy phones
Checking and processing prescriptions
Check in and sign for controlled/narcotic medication deliveries
Provide general pharmacist coverage and support

Note: The pharmacist will not be responsible for administering immunizations.

Pharmacy Details
Software: PioneerRx
Processes 200+ prescriptions per day
Approximately 200+ prescriptions checked per day
Pharmacy staff includes 3 full-time pharmacy technicians

Requirements
Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist License
1+ year of recent retail pharmacy experience
Strong prescription processing and verification experience
