Job Description
We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to support payroll and HR operations at a manufacturing site. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can balance accurate payroll processing with employee support in a busy, fast-moving environment. The role will work closely with site leadership and staff to help ensure timely pay, compliant recordkeeping, and smooth day-to-day HR administration.

Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees, ensuring wages are calculated and issued accurately and on schedule.
• Review payroll data, verify supporting records, and conduct audits to maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Update employee payroll information, including status changes, deductions, garnishments, direct deposit details, and benefit-related adjustments.
• Address employee questions related to pay, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide administrative support for HR activities such as onboarding documentation, personnel file maintenance, and employee record updates.
• Safeguard confidential employee information while helping maintain organized and compliant payroll and HR documentation.
• Compile payroll and human resources reports to support operational needs, audits, and management requests.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and employees to deliver responsive service across payroll and HR functions.• Proven experience handling full-cycle payroll in an environment supporting hourly and salaried employees.
• Prior exposure to human resources administration, including employee documentation and onboarding support, is strongly preferred.
• Background in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with payroll platforms is required; familiarity with UKG Ready or UKG Pro is highly preferred.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail when working with payroll entries, audits, and employee records.
• Ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and manage sensitive information with discretion.
• Effective communication and customer service skills for supporting employees and site leadership.
