QA Assistant

Position: QA Assistant
Location: Brea, CA
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Range: $25–$28 per hour

Position Summary
The QA Assistant supports the Manufacturing Quality Department with daily quality activities, data entry, documentation, and department improvement projects. This position requires strong attention to detail, computer skills, basic to advanced math abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Department with daily quality-related activities.
• Support department improvement projects and initiatives.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain quality records.
• Enter and update information using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Review and organize quality documentation and reports.
• Perform calculations and assist with measurements using algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Assist Quality personnel with inspections and other quality control activities.
• Maintain accurate and organized records.
• Communicate quality-related information clearly with team members and supervisors.
• Follow company quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling company information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Department.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of data entry experience.
• Strong 10-key/data entry skills preferred.
• Proficient math skills, including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Fluent in reading and writing English.
• Previous Quality Assurance or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must meet ITAR compliance requirements and qualify as a U.S. person.
