Accounts Payable Specialist | Temporary | Brighton, MI

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a temporary opportunity with a well-established company in Brighton, MI. This is a great opportunity for an AP professional who can step into a busy accounting environment, work independently, and hit the ground running.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Duration: Temporary, expected to run through approximately the end of April 2027

What You'll Do:

• Process approximately 200 invoices while maintaining accurate AP records and documentation
• Review invoices for proper approval, process payments, and assist with vendor inquiries
• Maintain AP reports, spreadsheets, and files
• Assist with monthly closing, account analysis, and other accounting-related tasks
• Support the Controller and accounting team with additional duties as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 3-4 years of Accounts Payable experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience processing a high volume of invoices and working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP Concur, Excel, and/or RecLogic preferred
• Professional, dependable, adaptable, and focused work style

This position is expected to run through approximately the end of April 2027 and is being filled as temporary coverage for an employee's extended leave. Candidates who can start as soon as possible are strongly preferred to allow for adequate training.
