Location: San Francisco, CA 94110
Job Type: Contract
Shift: Day or Night | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Schedule: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM / 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a Psych/Behavioral Health opportunity in a hospital setting in San Francisco, CA.
The ideal candidate must have recent CNA experience in Psychiatric/Behavioral Health and hospital-based Med-Surg experience. This role requires a compassionate, patient-focused professional who is comfortable working with patients in both behavioral health and acute-care environments.
Requirements
- Active CNA certification
- Psychiatric or Behavioral Health CNA experience required
- Hospital experience in a Med-Surg department required
- Experience providing direct patient care in an acute-care setting
- Ability to work 12-hour Day or Night shifts
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Support patients in a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health setting
- Assist the nursing team with patient care in a hospital Med-Surg environment
- Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and procedures
- Document care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
