Step into a rewarding contract position supporting early learners as a bilingual Early Childhood Special Education professional in the Aurora, CO area. Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Colorado Department of Education Teaching License with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (highly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience conducting comprehensive early childhood evaluations
  • Skilled in Child Find evaluation processes and documentation
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Flexibility to serve multiple locations and adapt to district needs
  • Ability to complete district-required contractor credentialing in a timely manner

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bilingual Child Find evaluations at district-wide locations, primarily at North Star Elementary and Centennial Elementary
  • Provide expert assessment and evaluation for Early Childhood Special Education students
  • Participate actively within the district’s evaluation team to determine eligibility and recommend appropriate services and interventions
  • Maintain detailed, compliant records and confidential reports
  • Engage in collaborative team meetings with school psychologists and other professionals
  • Travel between assigned schools and sites as needed throughout the week
