Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (includes one-hour unpaid lunch break)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Reports To: Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator to join our Albany, NY facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong warehouse background, current forklift certification, and at least 3 to 5 years of forklift operating experience. This role requires a safety-conscious individual who can efficiently support warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, and receiving activities.
Key Responsibilities - Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and damages.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outbound orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Organize warehouse inventory and ensure materials are stored properly.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members and management to meet operational goals.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned.
- Current forklift certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of forklift operating experience.
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
- Inventory control and warehouse management system experience.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move materials in accordance with warehouse requirements.
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
- Standard warehouse environment.
- Steel-toed footwear is required at all times.
- Standard warehouse work attire is required.
