Certified Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care

SHIFT:

2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
All weekends required.
Must be willing to float to other units as needed.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide supportive services to nurses and other healthcare staff as assigned.
Assist residents with activities of daily living according to individualized care plans.
Assist with lifting, turning, repositioning, transferring, and transporting residents.
Assist residents into and out of beds, chairs, wheelchairs, bathtubs, and lifts.
Support dining services, including meal setup, tray delivery, feeding assistance, and cleanup.
Document meal and nutritional supplement intake.
Assist with resident weights and report significant changes to nursing staff.
Monitor and report skin concerns, including pressure areas, skin breakdown, or skin tears.
Assist nursing staff with toileting programs.
Complete required daily flow sheets and resident documentation.
Report resident refusals, changes in condition, and other concerns to the nurse or supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 1 year of Long-Term Care experience – REQUIRED.
Previous travel experience – REQUIRED.
High school diploma or equivalent – REQUIRED.
Current AHA BLS certification – REQUIRED.
Successful work history demonstrating assignments/employment lasting longer than 13 weeks – REQUIRED.
No active disciplinary action against certification – REQUIRED.
Active certification/license at the time of submission – REQUIRED
