Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for adult residents and establish individualized treatment goals.
- Develop and implement therapeutic plans addressing activities of daily living, functional mobility, and cognitive/psychosocial function.
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions as needed, and communicate outcomes to the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document patient status, progress notes, and outcomes in the electronic medical record; ensure timely, accurate records.
- Provide education to residents and families about therapy strategies, home programs, and discharge planning.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance in daily practice.

Requirements
- Current, unrestricted California license to practice occupational therapy.
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Relevant experience in adult rehabilitation or geriatric care settings preferred.
- Ability to work a scheduled 8.5-hour day on a travel assignment; available for a 13-week commitment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to complete pre-employment screenings and background checks as part of the onboarding process.
