Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our 99-bed skilled nursing facility safe, comfortable, and running smoothly for our residents and staff.

This is a great opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with their hands, and being part of a team that makes a difference every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility and grounds

• Perform general repairs and maintenance as directed

• Complete routine preventative maintenance throughout the building

• Assist with monitoring and maintaining facility systems, including water temperatures, call lights, generators, fire alarms, and other required maintenance logs

• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair needs

• Identify supply, equipment, and repair needs and communicate them to the Maintenance Supervisor

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors

• Coordinate with other departments as needed

• Assist with additional maintenance projects and responsibilities throughout the facility

Requirements

• Previous maintenance experience preferred

• General knowledge of building maintenance and repair

• Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or similar hands-on experience is a plus

• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete assigned repairs

• Dependable with strong time-management skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Professional and respectful when interacting with residents, families, staff, and visitors

• Ability to follow safety procedures and written and verbal instructions

• Comfortable working in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment
