Home Health Aide (HHA)

Young at Heart Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)  in the Broward area.

Instead of caring for multiple patients at once, you'll have the opportunity to provide personalized, one-on-one care in a private home, helping your client feel safe, comfortable, supported, and independent.

We have day and night opportunities available and are looking for caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping others.

Depending on your client's care plan, you may assist with:

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily activities
• Mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and emotional support
• Light housekeeping and laundry related to client care
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's needs
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment

You must have:

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Hands-on caregiving experience 
• Reliable transportation
• Dependable and punctual attendance
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a client's home

Preferred:

• CPR certification
• 3+ years of caregiving experience
• Previous private-duty or one-on-one home care experience

$17–$19/hour – Competitive hourly pay based on the assignment and experience
