Rockaway Home Care is hiring certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) throughout Westchester County, New York.

We have clients in communities across the county, including Yonkers, White Plains, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon, Peekskill, Yorktown Heights, Croton-on-Hudson, and surrounding areas.

Your Role as a Home Health Aide

As an HHA with Rockaway Home Care, you'll provide personalized care and support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your support helps our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Helping with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Assisting with mobility and transfers

• Preparing meals and assisting with mealtime routines

• Providing medication reminders as permitted

• Performing light housekeeping related to client care

• Providing companionship and emotional support

• Observing clients and reporting changes in condition

• Completing required care documentation

• Following the client's established plan of care
  

What We're Looking For

• Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) Certificate

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Dependable and compassionate approach to caregiving

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to provide professional and respectful in-home care

• Previous home care experience is a plus, but not required
