Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to provide chairside assistance and support clinical dental procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with 4-handed dentistry, oral surgery, extractions, implants, dental imaging, and EMR documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures.
• Support dentists during routine and complex dental treatments.
• Assist with oral surgery procedures, including extractions and implants.
• Practice effective 4-handed dentistry techniques.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas.
• Perform and assist with oral X-rays and panoramic imaging.
• Follow appropriate infection-control and sterilization procedures.
• Document patient information and clinical procedures accurately in the EMR.
• Prepare patients for procedures and provide appropriate support throughout treatment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
• Communicate effectively with dentists, clinical staff, and patients.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant.
• Experience with 4-handed dentistry.
• Experience assisting with oral surgery, extractions, and dental implants.
• Proficiency with oral X-rays and panoramic imaging.
• Experience with EPIC EMR documentation.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dental environment.
