ShareSTAFF is hiring Lead Vein Harvesting and OR Support in a Level 1 Trauma Cardiothoracic Programs for contract assignments at an Inpatient & Outpatient in Louisville, Kentucky. This locum Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant opportunity offers a 12-hour shift schedule (6:30 AM–6:00 PM) at a Level 1 trauma center in Louisville, Kentucky, with an average daily census of 40 patients on service. The role prioritizes OR support for 2 open cardiac cases per day — including coronaries, valve replacements, cardiac transplants, and VAD procedures — and requires proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting. This is a defined 25-week assignment (September 1, 2026–February 28, 2027) with a 6-month minimum commitment, occasional weekend rounding, and conditional call coverage when APRN staffing is short.
