Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist to work across acute inpatient and outpatient settings, requiring ortho and neuro rehabilitation experience.

Details

• Begins in Acute Inpatient hospital setting and transitions to an on-campus Outpatient Clinic as staffing needs change
• Inpatient caseload includes acute orthopedic post-op and neuro (stroke) patients along with general debilitation evaluations for placement
• Outpatient caseload is generalist in nature, with manual therapy experience preferred
• Clinic also treats lymphedema and pelvic floor patients, though experience in these areas is not required
• Vestibular experience is a plus
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs

Requirements

• Specialty experience within the last year required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Compact license or in-hand VA license may be required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Main responsibilities include acute inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient generalist physical therapy treatment
• Manual therapy and vestibular therapy experience are beneficial but not mandatory
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, ideally with no full calendar week off requested during the assignment and no more than 7 total days
• Any RTO requests must be submitted and approved prior to confirmation, with no additional requests accepted after an offer is made
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
• Prior facility employees must have a 6-month gap before returning as a travel clinician
