Accessories Material Handler

The Accessories Material Handler is responsible for receiving, moving/storing, and ultimately shipping accessories for new and after-market Mazak machines.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following:

* Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

* Receives accessory items and places them into locations.

* Pulls accessory items from locations and packs items to prepare for shipment.

* Reviews the weight, dimensions, cost, and nature of the items making up an accessory to prepare for shipment.

* Updates internal Mazak inventory system using the computer.

* Drives a forklift to move items within the warehouse.

* Drives a large (non CDL) flatbed truck retrieving or delivering items between Mazak buildings and our remote warehouse.

* Lifting parts up to 30 pounds in weight.

* Communicate effectively with different Mazak personnel via phone, email, and in-person.

Education/Certification:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

* CNC Machine parts knowledge is a plus.

* Previous experience with a forklift is a plus.

* Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

* Able to pay close attention to detail.

* Inventory experience is beneficial.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to use a computer for entering information into database, along with some experience in excel, word, and outlook.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm with some overtime necessary
