This position supports the upkeep and operation of Greenwood Furnace State Park Complex by performing a variety of maintenance and grounds tasks. As a Park Maintenance Worker, you will perform the following duties:
- Building Repairs: Perform basic repairs to park buildings and facilities using tools from multiple building trades
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain vehicles and equipment while traveling among the parks to complete assigned tasks
- Grounds Care: Carry out mowing, trimming, planting, and general grounds upkeep to support a clean and safe environment
- Construction Assistance: Support routine construction tasks including mixing cement, building forms, and laying stone or block
- Housekeeping Duties: Clean and restock restrooms, buildings, and pavilions while completing minor routine repairs
- Visitor Assistance: Provide helpful information to park visitors and complete required forms and records

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately March 2026 until November 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee may automatically be returned to employment March 2027.
- Work schedule varies due to the seasonal nature of the position, to include holidays and weekends.
- Standard schedule is 37.5 hours per week, across 5 days.
- Overtime and travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Conditions of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
