Maintenance Mechanic
Need 1 - Maintenance Mechanic - Shift 1 (Mon-Fri) Dept. 1431 Plant Facilities -
$19.95 - $32.15/hr.
HS education or equivalent and associate's degree or Technical School Diploma or Military Training or 10 years related experience. Advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex metal fabricating machinery in a high-precision manufacturing system and VFDs. Fanuc, Allen Bradley & Siemens experience preferred. Trumpf Lasers and Benders, Rondo rollers, Okuma, Ecoca, OM LTD, John Ford, Toyoda, and Landis, grinders, mills and lathes experience preferred. Exposure to HPLV Painting, Powder Coating, and Blasting/Reclaiming systems, Stamping Presses, EDM Equipment, Welders, Cranes and Hoists is a plus. Experienced/licenses/advanced training in industrial trades: (electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, HVAC, boilers, Air Compressors etc.) is a plus. Ensures production equipment is maintained in accordance with OEM standards and appropriate maintenance documentation is completed. Reads drawing, schematics, service manuals and executes directives per equipment manufacturer's technical support via phone or email. Self-starter with limited supervision prioritize jobs. Familiarity and adherence to OSHA safety standards and regulations.

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, vocational training, apprenticeship experience, or industrial maintenance education is preferred.
- HS education or equivalent and associate's degree or Technical School Diploma or Military Training or 10 years related experience.
Experience Requirements
- Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery or production equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of bearings, belts, chains, gears, motors, pumps, and related components.
- Ability to read equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, diagrams, and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
- Commitment to preventative maintenance, workplace safety, quality workmanship, and dependable attendance.
- HS education or equivalent and associate's degree or Technical School Diploma or Military Training or 10 years related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, facilities maintenance, or a related mechanical environment is preferred.
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding, fabrication, electrical systems, or PLC-controlled equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems, preventative maintenance programs, or root cause analysis is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical skill, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement are well positioned for success as a Maintenance Mechanic.
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair of complex metal fabricating machinery in a high-precision manufacturing system and VFDs.
- Fanuc, Allen Bradley & Siemens experience preferred.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, and work in varied positions throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift tools, replacement parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate tools, perform repairs, and handle mechanical components.
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery, elevated surfaces, confined areas, and industrial equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment.
- Able to lift atleast lbs.
