REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor

PAY : Upto $20/hour.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

JOB SUMMARY: Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used inor to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base.

 Read and write at High School Level in the English language.

 Adheres to all quality assurance procedures.

Assists in meeting production requirements.

 Works overtime as required (sometimes with minimal/short notice)

Follows instructions of Team Leader and/or Supervisor

Any other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Receiving incoming products and materials.o Requires completion of incoming inspection testing and reconciliation ofreceiving/purchase documentation.o Notification and/or delivery of incoming product to end user.

 Each receipt must have documentation (Packing Slip etc.) to support computer system entries.

 Requires completion of daily Receiving entries in computer system.

Receivers distributed to accounting office for filing.• All outbound shipments.

Requires preparation of paperwork in system, management of packaging materials inventories, packaging of product to be shipped, and arrangement of transportation services.

 Required to forward a requisition for shipping materials to the departmentSupervisor for approval.

UPS/FedEx software is to be used effectively and understood for summary reporting on request.

General housekeeping, maintenance and organization of the dock and inventory areas.

 Requires hands on cleaning and maintenance along with organization and interpersonal skills to coordinate with other departments and outside waste disposal vendor.o Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.are required of the employee.

 Documentation distribution.o Requires transfer of all original documents to department Supervisor for distribution

Responsible for planning pick-up by the carrier specified via the shippingins tructions.

 Must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the departmentTeam Leader and/or Supervisor. 

 Job Kittingo Ability to fill orders based on production/customers needs.

Able to identify/verify correct parts that are pulled for orders.o Ability to use measuring tools and part counting scales.

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.• Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE• Must pass and maintain required First Day Knowledge Assessment training.

 Must be familiar with and able to interpret packing slips, enter into the computer thecorrect information, to acknowledge receipt of the goods into database.

 Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are usedand required by the major freight carriers.

Must be capable of estimating weight and use that information to calculate the costof shipping.

Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aidsused to convey specific packaging requirements.

Must be familiar with the most common material handling equipment and be acertified forklift truck operator or possess the ability to become certified.

Experience with UPS/FEDEX online software is desirable.

 Required to stand for long periods of time and frequent use of hands and fingers,to handle and feel.

Moderate activity, with occasional bending and stooping, standing and/or walking forextended periods.

Ability to lift 50 pounds while using safe lifting techniques.

 Speaking and hearing: able to comprehend English language.

See and have visual capability: able to see screens, monitors, and environment

 Works inside and outside, closely with others

 Generally, works regular work hours, occasionally works after hours.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to noisy and can be loud.

 Warehouse/plant climate can be based upon outdoor weather conditions.

 Must be able to wear the required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) forextended periods of time when on the plant floor.
