Registered Nurse Director of Nursing

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Registered Nurse Director of Nursing to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising nurses and aides, implementing recommended changes, and ensuring exceptional resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise nurses and aides for our Long Term Care facility

• Implement recommended changes as required

• Conduct resident assessments and monitor resident care, reporting changes to the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing

• Document resident care and treatment records accurately and in a timely manner

• Liaise with attending physicians, assessing the necessity of calls during off business hours

• Monitor nursing staff to ensure proper documentation on MARs, nurse's notes, and accident/incident reports

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse license

• Minimum Years of Experience: 5+ years

• Level of Education: n/a
