Be the financial engine behind production—own the numbers, elevate the insights, and help the plant run smarter every day.

What will you own?
  • Standard cost stewardship: maintain and refine material, labor, and overhead standards
  • Variance visibility: analyze material, labor, and overhead variances; clarify root causes
  • Inventory integrity: track receipts, transfers, and adjustments and resolve discrepancies
  • GL alignment: reconcile the inventory subledger to the general ledger
  • Count support: participate in cycle counts and physical inventories
How will you support close and reporting?
  • Post journal entries and complete account reconciliations with thorough schedules
  • Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close execution
  • Translate manufacturing variances into actionable insights for operations
  • Contribute to financial statements and management reporting packs
Where will you add analytical horsepower?
  • Partner on annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor performance versus plan and surface trends
  • Deliver decision support analyses to guide operational choices
Which systems and controls will you strengthen?
  • Maintain cost data in ERP systems (IQMS, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Safeguard internal controls across inventory and financial reporting processes
Who will you collaborate with?
  • Production, supply chain, and operations teams to validate cost drivers
  • Cross-functional stakeholders to streamline processes and improve accuracy
  • Non-finance partners to clearly communicate financial implications
What you bringEducation and experience
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing background preferred
  • Strong foundation in cost or inventory accounting (preferred)
Technical skills
  • ERP fluency (e.g., IQMS, SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data analysis)
  • Solid grasp of GAAP and cost accounting principles
Soft skills
  • Analytical problem-solver with rigorous attention to detail
  • Self-starter who meets deadlines independently
  • Clear communicator and collaborative partner
Preferred extras
  • CPA or active pursuit
  • Standard costing and variance analysis experience
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
Work setting
  • Primarily office-based with periodic production floor visits
  • May require extended hours during close cycles or audits
