Job Description
Benefits:
Agent Aspirant — Future State Farm AgentThis isn’t just your next job. It could be the first step toward owning your own business.
We’re looking for an ambitious, growth-minded professional who wants more than a traditional sales career. As an Agent Aspirant, you’ll join an established State Farm agency and learn the business from the inside out—with the goal of developing the skills, experience, and leadership needed to pursue the opportunity to become a State Farm independent contractor agent.
Think of this role as an entrepreneurial apprenticeship.
You’ll learn how to grow a business, build lasting customer relationships, develop a high-performing team, and understand the day-to-day decisions behind running a successful agency.
And you won’t be expected to figure it out alone.
We believe high expectations and strong support belong together. You’ll receive hands-on coaching, mentorship, accountability, and opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow.
What You'll Do
Mindset matters as much as experience.
You may be a great fit if you:
Licensing
Candidates must hold or be willing to obtain applicable Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses within the required timeframe.
Where This Can Lead
For the right person, this role is preparation for something much bigger: the opportunity to pursue becoming a State Farm independent contractor agent and build a business of your own.
That opportunity isn't automatic or guaranteed. It requires performance, development, leadership, and meeting State Farm's applicable requirements and selection criteria.
But if that's where you want to go, we want to help you become ready for it.
If you could spend the next chapter of your career learning how to build a business from someone who's already doing it, what would you do with that opportunity?
If your answer is everything I could, we'd like to meet you.
- Paid time off
- 401(k) matching
- Bonus based on performance
