Aspen Careers is partnering with a top 20 Am Law 100 firm to identify Midlevel Associates for its growing Structured Transactions practice. Opportunities are available in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with corporate, finance, securitization, or structured finance experience to join a highly respected global firm. The group is especially interested in associates with experience involving asset-backed securities, RMBS, CLOs, receivables financing, warehouse facilities, or other structured finance transactions.

Job Title: Structured Transactions Midlevel Associate

Locations: Chicago, IL; New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; or Washington, DC

Work Schedule: Hybrid, with attorneys generally expected to work in the office Tuesday through Thursday.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has approximately 3–5 years of law firm experience handling corporate and/or finance transactions.
  • Has meaningful experience in structured finance, securitization, or asset-backed finance.
  • Experience with ABS, RMBS, CLOs, receivables financing, warehouse facilities, forward-flow transactions, or similar products is highly preferred.
  • Can manage key parts of a transaction and is prepared to take greater ownership of deals.
  • Has experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Is comfortable communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in a transaction.
  • Has strong analytical, writing, organizational, and project-management skills.
  • Can manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates strong academic credentials and a record of professional achievement.
  • Is an active member of the bar in the state or jurisdiction of the selected office.
