Shift: 8hours Days
 
Job Summary:
The Charge RN – Main Operating Room provides clinical leadership while delivering exceptional perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role coordinates daily operations, supports nursing staff, collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, and ensures safe, efficient, and patient-centered care throughout the surgical process.
 
Required Qualifications
Education: 
·       Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program
Licensure & Certifications
·        California Registered Nurse (RN) License
·        BLS – American Heart Association
·        NIH Stroke Scale Certification (within 90 days of hire)
Experience
·        Minimum 1 year RN experience with demonstrated leadership abilities
·        RN Leadership experience
·        Minimum 2 years of recent Peri-Anesthesia RN experience
·        Acute Care Hospital experience
·        Operating Room / Perioperative nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
·        Charge Nurse experience
·        Main Operating Room experience
·        Perioperative Services leadership
·        Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
·        Quality improvement and staff mentoring experience
