ASL JOB COACH SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES

About the Role:
Network 1 Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated ASL Job Coach to join our Supported Living Services (SLS) team in Lawndale, CA. In this rewarding role, you'll empower individuals with disabilities by providing personalized support and guidance to help them thrive in their daily lives and work environments. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct job coaching and vocational support to individuals with disabilities using American Sign Language (ASL)
• Assist clients in developing independent living skills and achieving personal goals within Supported Living Services (SLS)
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and employers using ASL to ensure clear understanding and advocacy
• Monitor and document client progress, goals, and outcomes in accordance with program requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, case managers, and support staff to coordinate individualized service plans
• Provide on-site job support and workplace integration assistance for clients in community employment settings
• Facilitate skill-building activities focused on employment readiness, communication, and daily living tasks

Requirements:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is required
• Experience working with individuals with developmental, physical, or intellectual disabilities
• Prior experience in job coaching, supported employment, or supported living services preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with regional center or agency guidelines
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
