As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the dietary needs of our patients and residents are met with excellence and compassion. Reporting to the Dietary Director, you will oversee the daily operations of our foodservice department, managing a team of dietary staff to provide high-quality meals that meet strict nutritional standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate dietary services, including menu planning, food production, and tray delivery

• Supervise and train dietary staff, including dietary aides and kitchen assistants

• Conduct audits and maintain accurate records of food and supply inventory, as well as patient dietary information

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including state and federal guidelines, and maintain a clean and safe food environment

• Collaborate with other departments, such as nursing and therapies, to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and staff to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

• 2 years of experience; previous experience in long-term care or healthcare setting preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of dietary regulations and standards, as well as food safety practices
