Medical Assistant / Executive AssistantApollo Men’s Health is seeking a highly experienced, dependable, and organized Medical Assistant / Executive Assistant to work closely with our provider and clinical team.
This is a hybrid position for someone who is comfortable working in a clinical setting while also providing direct administrative and executive support to the provider. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate the provider’s needs throughout the day.

This position is best suited for an experienced Medical Assistant who wants to take on a higher level of responsibility. We need someone who can be the provider’s right-hand person—helping with patient care while keeping the provider organized, prepared, and aware of upcoming appointments, meetings, deadlines, and outstanding responsibilities.
The right candidate should be able to look ahead, recognize what needs attention, communicate effectively with the provider and staff, and help keep both the clinical and administrative sides of the provider’s day running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical / Medical Assistant Duties
- Assist the provider with patient visits and daily clinic flow
- Prepare and room patients before the provider enters
- Obtain and document vital signs, medication history, and relevant patient information
- Prepare charts and ensure necessary information is available for upcoming appointments
- Assist with procedures and treatments as directed by the provider
- Coordinate labs, prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up care
- Review provider orders and ensure assigned tasks are completed
- Communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments and follow-up needs
- Maintain accurate and organized patient documentation
- Help ensure the provider stays on schedule throughout the clinic day
- Review the provider’s daily and upcoming schedule
- Remind the provider of upcoming patient appointments, meetings, calls, and important deadlines
- Help organize and prioritize the provider’s daily responsibilities
- Identify scheduling conflicts or special appointments that require the provider’s attention
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and other commitments
- Keep the provider informed of important patient or staff matters requiring attention
- Follow up on outstanding tasks and remind the provider of items requiring completion
- Assist with emails, phone calls, documents, and other administrative responsibilities as needed
- Communicate with staff on behalf of the provider when appropriate
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive patient and business information
We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong Medical Assistant experience
- Has experience working directly alongside a physician or healthcare provider
- Is extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Has excellent time-management and multitasking skills
- Is comfortable managing a busy provider schedule
- Takes initiative without needing constant direction
- Can anticipate what needs to be done and follow through
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is professional, dependable, and punctual
- Is comfortable communicating with patients, staff, pharmacies, laboratories, and outside offices
- Can handle confidential information with discretion
- Works well in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Is comfortable using EMR/EHR systems, email, calendars, and general office software
- 3+ years of Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and skill level.
- Competitive compensation will be offered to candidates with strong Medical Assistant and/or executive-level provider support experience.
