Your Role

• Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department and clinical team

• Oversee the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

• Support, mentor, and develop nursing staff

• Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support facility goals and quality outcomes

• Monitor clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes

• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

• Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention efforts

• Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and members of the leadership team

Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing

• Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or nursing leadership experience preferred

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and standards of care

• Ability to lead, mentor, and support a clinical team

• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care
