Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department and clinical team
Oversee the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Support, mentor, and develop nursing staff
Collaborate with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to support facility goals and quality outcomes
Monitor clinical documentation, care plans, and resident outcomes
Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Assist with staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and retention efforts
Promote a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment
Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and members of the leadership team
Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, or nursing leadership experience preferred
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of state and federal regulations and standards of care
Ability to lead, mentor, and support a clinical team
Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care
