Looking to join a team where you are valued and your hard work is appreciated?   Tire Factory/Point S Tire and Auto have an immediate Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate position available in our Salt Lake City distribution center.     Eligible for a $500 new hire bonus.  After 90 days you will have an opportunity to earn an additional $200 per month incentive bonus.  Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.

Position Summary 


The Delivery Driver – Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation and delivery of tires, wheels, supplies, equipment, promotional materials, and other company products to designated company locations and customers.

This position represents the company in a professional manner and is responsible for providing reliable, courteous customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, accuracy, dependability, and compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations.

As a secondary responsibility, the employee will support warehouse operations when delivery duties are not required or when additional warehouse assistance is needed. Warehouse responsibilities may include receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory organization, and general material handling.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 3 years of delivery driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to pass background check and drug screen.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and be comfortable doing manual labor.
• Consistent work history/strong work ethic.
• Must be dependable and a team player.
• Strong attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• Required to operate company vehicles.
• Lift / carry by hand, freight weighing up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
• Push/pull products of excessive weight. 
• Work both independently and in a team environment.
• Meet or exceed applicable efficiencies standards and expectations.
• Driving for long periods of time.
• Will work in extreme weather conditions (Heat or Cold).

Experience:

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• 2-3 years distribution experience is preferred.
• Industry knowledge and identification a plus.
• Strong knowledge of safety compliance/requirements.
• Basic computer skills/knowledge.

Schedule:

• Day shift.  
• Work Week: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays as needed. Hours vary.
• Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the distribution center supervisor/manager.
