Pediatric Private Duty Nurse for Medically Complex Child Care

About the Client
Balanced Care is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty care for a medically complex 10-year-old boy in Greenville, SC. He is nonverbal and non-ambulatory, and requires attentive, experienced nursing support in the comfort of his home. Those who care for him describe him as a true joy — he loves to dance and light up the room with his smile.

Schedule & Compensation
•       Shift: Day shift – 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (8 hours)
•       Days: Monday – Friday (consistent weekly schedule)
•       Weekend hours also available for those interested in additional shifts
•       Pay Rate: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience

Client Care Needs
•       Tracheostomy care and suctioning
•       Enteral feeding tube management
•       Ventilator support monitoring
•       Seizure monitoring and intervention
•       Positioning, hygiene, and comfort care
•       Ongoing assessment and documentation

Requirements
•       Active South Carolina RN or LPN license
•       Minimum 3 years of nursing experience (pediatrics preferred)
•       Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube care
•       Experience with seizure disorders strongly preferred
•       Current CPR/BLS certification
•       Reliable transportation to Greenville, SC
•       Ability to work independently in a home environment
