Learning Express Toys is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee daily store operations. This role is responsible for staff management, scheduling, inventory, ordering and receiving merchandise, customer service, merchandising, and supporting local marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and enjoys creating a fun shopping experience for children and families.
 
Responsibilities
 
- Hire, train, coach, and supervise store associates
- Create and manage employee schedules
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and stock replenishment
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and store presentation
- Provide outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Support store events, promotions, and local marketing initiatives
- Monitor sales performance and help achieve store goals
- Manage and maintain social media.
 
Qualifications
 
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with inventory management and merchandising
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds and performing retail floor duties
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and seasonal peak periods
