The Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Manager provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for nursing services within the residential treatment program. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, client-centered nursing care while maintaining compliance with federal, state, licensing, accreditation, and organizational standards.
JOB PURPOSE
The Nurse Manager leads, coaches, and develops nursing staff, promotes a culture of accountability and teamwork, and collaborates closely with program leadership, medical providers, pharmacy partners, Human Resources, and other interdisciplinary team members to support exceptional client outcomes.
The Nurse Manager is accountable for nursing practice, medication management, regulatory readiness, quality improvement initiatives, staffing effectiveness, and clinical excellence.
Pay: $90,000-$100,000Shift: Full-Time

Clinical Leadership
Provide leadership, direction, coaching, training and consultation to all nursing staff.
Foster a culture of professionalism, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Promote evidence-based nursing practice and person-centered care.
Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff regarding client care, medications, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure continuity and coordination of nursing services across all shifts.
Quality & Client Care
Ensure delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care.
Monitor quality indicators and implement corrective actions when needed.
Review client care plans to ensure appropriate nursing interventions and documentation.
Participate in incident review, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives.
Promote client safety and infection prevention practices.
Regulatory Compliance
Maintain compliance with:
Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS)
Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), as applicable
DEA requirements
Board of Nursing standards
Federal and State regulations
CARF and other accreditation standards, when applicable
Ensure nursing documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards.
Participate in licensing surveys, audits, and corrective action planning.
Maintain required reports, records, quality metrics, and statistics.
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, interview, onboard, train, coach, and retain qualified nursing staff in partnership with Human Resources.
Supervise nursing personnel, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Trained Medication Aides (TMAs), as applicable.
Conduct performance evaluations, coaching conversations, and corrective action consistent with EOSIS policies.
Ensure staff maintain required competencies, certifications, and licensure.
Coordinate orientation and ongoing education for nursing staff.
Validate and document TMA competencies.
Staffing & Operations
Develop and monitor nursing schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
Assist with staffing coverage during emergencies while maintaining budget expectations.
Provide clinical on-call support for nursing staff according to organizational expectations.
Support admission processes by providing timely nursing review and admission decisions when appropriate.
Collaborate with Program Directors regarding staffing, workflow, and operational priorities.
Medication Management
Oversee medication administration practices.
Ensure compliance with controlled substance policies and procedures.
Monitor medication storage, security, inventory, reconciliation, and disposal.
Collaborate with pharmacy providers to resolve medication-related concerns.
