At CHADS Coalition, we believe every young person deserves access to compassionate mental health care before a crisis occurs. We're seeking a licensed therapist who is passionate about working with children and adolescents primarily in a school setting. This part-time role offers meaningful daytime work, a consistent school-based schedule, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

What You'll Do:
As a Youth Mental Health Therapist, you'll provide evidence-based counseling and collaborate with families, schools, and community partners to support student well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide individual counseling for students experiencing anxiety, depression, self-injury, suicidal ideation, and other behavioral or emotional concerns.
• Complete clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver services primarily in partner schools, with occasional telehealth or office-based sessions as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with parents, school personnel, healthcare providers, and community resources.
• Provide case management and connect families with needed supports.
• Respond to mental health crises following CHADS clinical protocols.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and required program data.
• Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

• Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current Missouri licensure as an LMSW, PLPC, LPC, LCSW, or other independently licensed mental health professional.
• Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, or young adults.
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, communication, and documentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.

Preferred:

• School-based counseling experience.
• Experience facilitating adolescent groups.
• Knowledge of suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care.

Starting Rate: $37.00+ per hour, based on experience

This is a part-time, school-based, pay per session position with services provided primarily during regular school hours. Therapists are assigned to partner schools and maintain a consistent schedule during the academic year. Some after-school, evening, telehealth, or office-based sessions may occasionally be needed.
