Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (R) certification to perform CT imaging in a hospital setting.
Details
- Adult outpatient and emergency department work settings
- Performs CT imaging of abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and vascular studies
- Preferred experience with coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and enterography studies
- Preferred experience with 3D rendering, MPR, and ROI measurement post-processing techniques
- Uses GE CT equipment and PACS system
- Cerner charting system experience preferred
- Schedule options include 4x10-hour shifts (12:30 PM-11:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (10:30 AM-11:00 PM), including every other weekend
- Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- ARRT (R) and CT certification required (CT certification preferred if not yet obtained)
- BLS certification required (AHA only)
- License required if applicable
- Community hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration
- Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
- Peripheral IV starts preferred
Additional Information
- Must be available to work every other holiday
- Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
- Travel pairs considered based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed
- Former permanent employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Two supervisor references preferred
