Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) position is located in the cardiac cath lab area. This role involves assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating, primarily in an acute care setting. The position is scheduled for dayshift hours, with rotating weekends and holidays, and requires adherence to a rotational call schedule.
Job Details
- Position Description: Assist with cath lab procedures, including scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics, and circulating within the cardiac cath lab.
- Required Qualifications: Valid active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated, active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, and IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certifications. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred, but not explicitly required.
- Schedule: 10 hours shifts, 40 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. On-call hours are on a rotational basis, with a call response time of 30 minutes from page.
- Additional Information: Orientation lasts approximately 3 to 5 days. During orientation, non-billable hours are guaranteed. Staff are not required to float at this time. Scrubs are provided by the hospital. There is a mandatory call list used when staff cannot fulfill their scheduled call shift.
