**Join Our Team as an Exciting Physical Therapist!** **Job Description:** - Must have active Alaska license at time of submission. - Provide general Physical Therapy (PT) evaluations and treatments, impacting patients' functional abilities. - Oversee and direct the work of Physical Therapist Assistants and/or other designated staff members. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, identifying therapy diagnoses and formulating personalized treatment plans. - Implement, supervise, and adapt therapy plans based on patient responses to optimize outcomes. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals, attending care conferences and maintaining communication regarding patient status. - Ensure appropriate medical equipment is arranged and care plans established prior to patient discharge. - Document patient encounters, findings, treatments, and progress according to established policies. - Deliver services promptly and in compliance with regulatory standards. - Work with both in-patient and out-patient populations in diverse settings. - Guide and mentor support staff, students, or interns in therapy practices. - Foster a healthcare partnership among patients, families, and providers by providing clear communication and education. - Develop and implement education programs tailored to patient and family needs. - Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of clinical space and equipment. - Stay informed on billing procedures for effective reimbursement. - Participate in meetings, sharing results, statistics, and metrics as required. - Engage in committee roles and represent the Rehabilitation Services Department as needed. - Provide educational sessions and consultations to medical staff and interdisciplinary teams. - Adhere to APTA regulatory and practice standards and participate in quality assurance initiatives. **Education, Certifications, and Licenses Required:** - Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program or graduate from an APTA approved program with 2 years of proven work and continuing education experience. - Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Alaska. - Current Basic Life Support certification. - Valid Driver’s license. **Experience Required:** - Minimum 1 year experience in adult outpatient rehabilitation. **Shift Information:** - Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
