Position Description:
The Interventional Radiology (IR) Specialist supports vascular and endovascular procedures within the vascular surgery department. Responsibilities include scrubbing with hospital surgical techs, setting up and taking down procedure rooms, and participating in call rotations. The role involves working in a Level 1 trauma care setting with a focus on IR and vascular procedures, often involving IR experience but not exclusively required. -
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT certification (cannot take RCIS) and BLS (AHA) certification
- Active Illinois license or confirmation that application has been initiated
- Minimum of 2 years of vascular/endovascular experience
- Scrubbing experience with GE equipment required
- Location: must be within 50 miles of the organization

Additional Information:
The candidate must produce a negative drug screen for all panels, and will undergo a week of unit-specific orientation. They are expected to respond to call within 30 minutes and be flexible to float within similar units.
