Overview:

Our high-volume spay and neuter nonprofit clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Support Specialist to assist our clients at the front desk and help us provide essential services to underserved communities.

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet clients at the front desk, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and ensure a smooth flow of traffic
- Handle phone calls, emails, and messages in a professional and friendly manner
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain and organize client records and medical histories using clinic software
- Provide clients with information on clinic services, procedures, and aftercare instructions
- Ensure that the front desk area is organized and welcoming for clients and their pets
- Address client concerns or issues with a compassionate and solution oriented approach
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information in accordance with clinic policies
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support clinic functions
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or administrative role (veterinary experience is a must)
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to interacting with clients
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic proficiency in computer software (experience with veterinary software such as ClinicHQ or DaySmart (formerly Vetter) is a plus)
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and helping underserved communities
- Team oriented and willing to assist with various tasks as needed
