Job Description
The CDL A Driver specializes in operating commercial tank trucks on regional or long-haul routes. This role requires independent operation of vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions, supporting company, lease, and owner-operator frameworks in a variety of driving assignments.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tank trucks safely on regional or long-haul routes
- Maintain vehicle and cargo in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Work independently to manage schedules and route logistics
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
- Handle loading and unloading procedures according to company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in commercial driving
- Experience with tank trucks preferred but not required
- Knowledge of commercial vehicle operations and safety regulations
