Assistant, Credit Administration
Title: Assistant, Credit Administration

General Description:
Credit administration clerical duties including customer service responsibilities and loan administration assistance to maintain files and documentation. Must have a thorough knowledge of all loan products and services offered by Eagle Bank. Duties include data input, loan balancing, audit research and response, insurance maintenance, collateral research and filings, and other credit administration duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Duties, & Technical Skills:
· Represent Eagle Bank to customers in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service
· Provide prompt and friendly service to customers via telephone
· Provide prompt and friendly service to loan personnel regarding customer and loan maintenance issues
· Add and maintain loan exceptions on loan document management tracking system
· Check and balance loans and payments booked on the prior processing day
· Provide loan payoff requests
· Collateral UCC searches, filings and amendments online with Secretary of State’s office
· Prepare lien releases letter on paid out loans for customers
· Prepare repossession documentation for dealer loans
· Process customer requests for line of credit draws
· Review files for missing documentation, verification and correction
· Loan escrow analysis for payment of taxes and insurance
· Research audit items and prepare responses to Board
· Maintain floor plan inventory spread sheet, including draws and payments
· Maintain insurance files, policy changes and cancellations. Send required notices to customers regarding cancellations. Communicate with insurance companies regarding cancellations and reinstatements. Notify loan officers of cancellations and force place insurance as needed.
· Log and file financial statements and tax returns. Maintain other file documentation. Put together loan files.
· Log and file all denied and withdrawn loan applications
· Backup for scanning of loan files
· Send letters requesting current financials and tax returns from customers
· Order payment coupon books
· Research, update and correct credit information online in E-Oscar for accurate credit reporting
· Enter bankruptcy information into system. Notification to loan officer and bank counsel
· Update and maintain foreclosure files
· Balance General Ledger accounts
· Typing, standing, lifting boxes/files, extended reaching, etc.
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· College Diploma or Equivalent Banking Experience is desirable
· Experience in a financial institution environment with knowledge of loan services and procedures is desirable.
· Must be knowledgeable in the use of computer programs including Word and Excel.
