About the Role:
Join the GEICO Local Office in McKinney, TX as a Licensed Insurance Agent and become part of one of the most recognized names in the insurance industry. Responsibilities:
- Sell and service personal lines insurance products including auto, home, renters, and life policies
- Geico experience a plus
- Prospect and develop new client relationships through referrals, walk-ins, and outbound outreach
- Conduct policy reviews and provide tailored coverage recommendations to meet client needs
- Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and performance metrics
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with state insurance regulations and company guidelines
Requirements:
- Active Texas Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
- Prior experience in insurance sales or a related financial services role preferred (Geico experience a plus)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and proven ability to hit sales goals
- Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree a plus
