Job Description

JP’s HAULING LLC is seeking reliable Cargo Van Owner-Operators to join our delivery team as independent contractors.

This is a contract delivery position for individuals who own or have access to their own cargo van and are looking for consistent delivery work in the North East, Maryland area and surrounding regions.

The contractor will be responsible for completing assigned residential delivery routes safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.

Compensation:

• $200 per completed full route
• $150 per completed split route
• Contractor is responsible for their own fuel and vehicle-related expenses
• 1099 Independent Contractor position
• Additional compensation may be available for unusually high package volume or extended routes

Typical Route:

• Approximately 40–80 packages per route
• Approximately 30–40 residential stops
• Most routes can be completed in approximately 3–4 hours
• Routes are expected to be completed within approximately 5–6 hours maximum, depending on package volume and delivery conditions
• Service area is primarily the North East, MD region, with routes potentially extending toward the Pennsylvania or Delaware line

Requirements:

• Own or have reliable access to a cargo van — vehicle is NOT provided
• Valid driver’s license
• Valid vehicle registration and insurance
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to lift and carry packages
• Smartphone with reliable GPS/data
• Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions
• Professional appearance and customer service
• Must be able to pass any required background/driving checks

We’re looking for dependable owner-operators who take pride in their work, communicate effectively, and can consistently complete their assigned routes. This is a great opportunity for someone who already owns a cargo van and wants to generate additional income through contracted delivery work.

Important: This is an independent contractor (1099) position. Contractors provide their own vehicle, fuel, insurance, and other operating expenses.
