Warehouse Stocker

Job Purpose

To accurately and efficiently stock warehouse shelves.

Duties and Responsibilities

• To accurately, consistently and safely follow directions
• Accurately identifying and receiving cases of product into inventory locations, using various pieces of warehouse equipment, upon receipt from the supplier
• Removing product from delivery trucks
• Returning undelivered products to their proper inventory locations
• Moving and stacking products for the purpose of conducting physical inventory
• Repacking products into special packages for special promotional programs
• Perform cleaning duties as may be directed by the warehouse supervisor
• Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed
• Observes safe product handling techniques
• Rotates the products on the shelves when they are received
• Helps customers loading their merchandise when needed
• Cooperate with supervisors and peers alike
• Is punctual and consistently available for work
• Various other duties, as assigned
• Use the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to maintain product freshness and remove damaged or expired items.
• Break down cardboard boxes, clean display cases, and sweep work areas

Qualifications

• Great organizational skills with and an eye for details.
• Customer Service able to communicate effectively
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule on short notice
• Previous experience
