Shred & Warehouse Specialist (Forklift Required)

Shred Specialist – Newark, CA
Pay Rate: $21.00 - $26.00/hr (Depending on Experience)

Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary Project (Aug 10, 2026 – Nov 30, 2026)

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

About the Role:
In this role, you will play a key part in processing wastepaper, operating industrial shredding equipment, and supporting daily warehouse logistics to ensure efficient and secure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unload, stage, and segregate incoming shredded paper, media, and product from delivery trucks.

• Operate and maintain industrial shredding and baling machinery in compliance with VRC and NAID security standards.

• Safely operate forklifts to stack gaylord boxes, move materials, and load/unload trucks and trailers.
• Ensure paper bales are properly staged and prepared for outbound shipments.
• Perform routine weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance on forklifts and facility equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work area reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• Technical & Equipment Skills: Prior warehouse experience with proficiency in forklift operation and general machinery maintenance.

• Security & Safety Standards: High commitment to safety protocols, secure document handling, and maintaining a hazard-free work space.
• Physical & Teamwork Strengths: Ability to handle physical warehouse duties, manage heavy volume, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
