Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) position is based in the Los Angeles area. This role involves performing, assisting, and completing Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations in a busy cardiovascular lab. The technologist will operate sophisticated imaging equipment, assist physicians with interventional procedures, and ensure high-quality patient care through technical precision and organizational skills.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026 and ending on 12/13/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; Radiologic Tech (RT) licensure in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Facility-specific BLS certification; Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification; Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB) or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; three years of technical experience; experience as a Special Procedures Technologist.
- Essential Functions: Operates diagnostic imaging equipment for contrast-enhanced radiographs during cardiac catheterization, assists physicians with specialized procedures, manages patient positioning, and documents procedures accurately. Monitors patient responses and environmental safety, assists with interventional procedures, and provides clear patient communication.
